Arild Passive houses

RESIDENTIAL & INTERIOR

On a unique site in Arild, Blossalyckan, 13, Passive houses are built. The inspiration is from the old fisherman houses in the bay.

Passive houses are a high standard low energy consuming house. The idea is simple, make the houses well isolated to minimize the heating costs. This saves both time and the environment. This is visible in the architecture with simple proven materials and forms. Through detailed study of size and window placements, giving just the right position when taking daylight and the surrounding nature into consideration.

The core of the house is made with wood panel cladding, integrating doors and closets, only the last step of the stairs is extruding out into the corridor with its last concrete step.
